BENN It is a program of the Senate administration concerned with the development of the city and housing, the project is implemented in cooperation with the concerned region. In 2017 and 2018, a total of 20 Benn sites were established near large refugee housing units all over Berlin. The project is based on strengthening the relationship between neighbors and enhancing communication between them, targeting civic participation and supporting the entry of refugees into social life.

The BENN team in Zehlendorf has been working with Düppel und Berlepschstraße from January 2018 until December 2021. They worked together in and around the refugee housing at Lissabonalle.6 (which closed in September 2020), and in Hohentwielsteig 27/29.

BENN Action is participatory: Old and newly neighbors can participate in developing and implementing neighborhood activities in many ways. Let's discuss neighborhood concerns and develop ideas for it.

We look forward to share ideas with you.

Your BENN Team.
